What are they 24's? Could work. They will be done at about 350whp so 330-340 will be putting them at higher cycle duty but should be ok.

But its not a bad idea to replace old stock parts

Yes, stock 24's, thats why I was thinking that an afpr would take up some slack. What fuel control if any is done through PCM tuning. (I know nothing about PCM tuning)

My guess is 12.8 sec 1/4 mile. Be sure to let us know how you do. Good Luck.

Also, I've had good luck with TPIS so far and they are knowledgable about their products and the C4. As far as pricing, I think they are very competetive with other manufacturers. I've shopped them on the parts I have purchased and some parts are slightly more and some are slightly less. What I can say for sure is that I've not been disappointed with any of their products yet.

My ride made 307 hp and 377 torque at the wheels to run 12.02
With spray, I made 449 hp and 597 ft lbs at the wheels to run 10.97.
Best Mph on spray was 129.997, with 126 mph being typical.

12.8 would be great, I would be very happy with that. The track here (Rock Falls Raceway) is a little on the slow side and not known for the best traction. When I go next month I will post my slips for sure.

That is the same combo I am running now.
Most of the et comes from the launch. 1.550 60' times are typical on a good day. I know a good converter guy My combo uses the torque, as I only shift at 5200 rpm, and cross the line at 4800 rpm.

On the spray, it is a different beast. Runs like it's got rabies.

That is good. I'm sure a lot of that time is due to the driver. I'm an autoxr, not a dragr, but have ran a couple of times down the drag strip. I have a a 700r4, 3.07 rar, and stock converter which is I think 1,200 stall. The best I've done has been 13.746. I did figure out I needed to put the car in third gear and let it run on out instead of letting it go to 4th. I'll try it next time I run the 1/4. I'm not sure about power last time I ran the 1/4, but I just got my car back from set up and it was dyno tuned at 250hp and 362 lb/ft torque at the wheels.

400 tires is close to 480ish crank. Everyone says 20% loss with auto but its hard to say how much is lost thru transmissions.

My 3450lb car went 11.4's at 118-119mph with a 1.55 60 foot with 400whp. 150 shot which i dont think i was getting a complete 150hp shot out of it, i went 10.6's at 127-128

I think with these new parts my gears and converter will be more at home. I really do not want to go to 3.73's, I think 3.55's are a good compromise, especially with first gear of the 4L60.

I ran 4.56 gears with a TH350 and 26" tall M&H Racemasters on my 68 GS. Cruising at 45-50 mph on the highway is a PITA, going out of town with it was next to never.

The first gear launch in that car though, was breathtaking. I do miss my GS a little

they have some great parts but they just cost too much. If I could get the whole mini ram for $800 i'd buy it.

Going to be similar
4.56 T350 = 11.4 1st gear
3.55 4L60 = 10.9 1st gear

Only now you have the equivalent of a 2.5 rear in O/d 4th

I got mine used for that, here on the forum.

Ive had a few different experiences with TPIS. Lately they have been very helpful, they got me the parts I needed for the miniram install ASAP. (waterneck and throttle bracket)

I will second, Call them! Dont bother with E-mail.

I only had one experience with TPiS and it was very good. I like to call places anyway so I called and asked about a set of headers. They told me they didnt have any made and it would be a few weeks before they shipped. They came when expected and I never had any issues. Just one persons experience though.

I think he's expecting 400 at the crank. It should run good whatever it makes.

I was wondering what the specs on the ZZ409 were. Is this correct?

226/226, Lift .520/.520. 112 LSA

Rick,
Yes those are correct. They list the lift with 1.5 rockers though. My 1.6's comes out to .555/.555 lift. Gotta love roller cams!
