I put some on my 89 about six months ago chasing a clicking noise. That was not the noise. Can you be more specific in what you are asking? It is not a hard job!

If you look close at the washer the inner hole is curved in one direction. Put the washer on such that the curve goes inside the hole in the wheel bearing. If it goes the other way it will interfere with the axle.

Several people told me to replace the washer or check the U joints when I had a rear clicking noise. It turned out to be the U joints. I could see they were pretty worn upon inspection.

I need to do my rear wheel bearings soon.

If you look at where it goes, there's only one direction where it seats properly. Shouldn't be too much trouble.
