Interior quiestion
The middle console door in the Early C4s. Are they made of plastic or rubber? Want to have it redone and I need to know if it's plastic or rubber.

Are you asking about the cover or the core? If you're redoing it, why not replace both? Or buy a complete replacement?

Both. I am not looking to replace it. I am sending it in to Flasunshine1 to hydrocarbon it. He is going to redo all of my interior by the summer. Just a few more areas and it will be complete. I have the CF cover from redlinegoods which looks great but I want the real thing so I was asking if it was plastic since he can only do plastic. He figured out a way to make it work. Thanks for helping though gregg.

So won't carbon be rigid? Will it be like turning your armrest into something as hard as a block of wood?
Or, if it's polished/shiney, what's to keep you from falling off your elbow into the rider's seat!?

Interesting....I was thinking the cover was an injection-molded material but I couldn't remember if it was plastic or what.

I still have the CF cover I could slip over it if I don't sell it from redlinegoods. It looks good though. Next on the list, is a CF steering wheel design. I have seen picture and they are beautiful.

It's not real carbon. Yes it will be polished/shiny like the other interior parts. I don't set my elbow on it either. Good call though. I had pictures of all pieces installed but they got deleted. They were posted on here awhile back. These are a picture of some parts. He has done all my interior. I will post up all of it instlaled friday at the lastest.
He did speaker covers, tach area, middle console, middle ac vents, breadbox eliminator, getting ready to do the console door, going to rip out the entire console and do that, going to do the BMAD,
