Default Bad Engine Stumble After Leaving starting Line

I ran in the Arm Drop Live event this past weekend at Darlington Dragway and had a great time up to my thrid round of elimenations. I came off the line very strong just as the Vette had done all weekend, after going ten feet or so the engine acted as if had taken just a big "gulp of air" and nearly stopped running. The Vette felt like it was falling on its front bumper (if it had one). Then just as quickly the engine caught and ran very strong all the way to the finish line. After the initial stumble just off the line the Vette ran very strong, never missing a shift or acting as if there had been any type of problem at the start of the run.
Any else have something like this happen to their Vette? Any ideas on were and what I might be looking for to fix this issue. I'm running a stock throttle body but I do have an after-market MAT sensor unit.

Sounds silly, but how much fuel was in it? My 90 has always done that with less than 1/4 tank.
