58 psi Fuel Pressure

Planning on running some 26lb ls1 injectors,will the fuel system on my 85 handle 58psi if in good shape?Engine is not stock appox 375hp @ crank.

That seems too high. The 85 injectors were 24# as you know. I ran mine with 39 psi. This was with the old L98 that was 350 HP at the crank and 430 pounds of torque.

I would think that the 26# injectors would give you additional fuel at just stock pressure.

Handle it, yes, supply 58psi, not likely.

I have a AFPR & stock fuel pump,do you think I need a better pump to run 58psi?

ls1 injectors run at higher FP than the L98s did.
As far as if its right, who knows. Id ask someone adept at tuning.

THE LS1 injector either part # 0280155890 or 752 are rated at 26lb at 58psi.. at stock l98 pressure they are a tad over 22. They also are too short as is and the clip spot is in the wrong place, The 85 fpr of course will have to be changed to a AFPR and the pump should be upgraded to a 255 walbro or equivalent. If you are set on using these there is a mod that has to be done to the injector to make it fit properly in the l98.. If you don't there is a good potential for the upper o ring to fail.
