Here is a 96 for sale and I was wondering if this was typical for the hood to be a little off when a supercharger is involved. Also does this look like a procharger kit and any comments on the car would be appreciated. I may go take a look at this one.
there is no reason for the hood to be off like that for the blower.
as far as it being off, it looks like the passenger side is not latched. (hood line to door is off)
the drivers side as far as I can tell looks latched(hood line to door) but the gap between the gill and the hood is another give away. Perhaps the gill needs and alighnment.
When I pulled my hood, I had issues gettong the nose to hood gap right. none of these other issues.
I cant tell for sure is it is a procharger, but it looks to have the procharger intercooler.
Also note the FMU on the passenger side by the hood latch.
I would go look at it. it seems like a nice car. Maybe he forgot to shut the hood when he took the pic.

I contacted the guy and the hood was not latched all the way after all. He says the car runs smooth and idles perfect. He claims the trans to be solid and no slipping. I may take a look at it just to try it out. How much benefit is the FMU on these kits? Is it standard on the procharger kit and how does it work? Also, how does the stock automatic hold up to the extra power? I am new to supercharging and would like to learn more. Thanks
