1990 corvette window issue
window motor will move when using the down button
but nothing happens when i press the up button on the switch
please advise!
i have replaced the motor (new-rockauto)
and i have also replaced the switch (used-got one from dino corvettesalvage.com)
please please please!!!!!!!! advise
im stuck with an open window all year long

Might be a broken wire or a loose connection. I think you can check the wires from switch to doors(have to take door panel off) with a continuity checker. It's been awhile since I traced mine but mine turned out to be a loose plug in the door. I plugged it back in and the window worked like new!

Not sure about the '90, but on a '93 the up wire color is Dk Blue for the driver's side and Blue/Wht for the passenger side. I say this as you may want to jump whichever side you're working on from the motor to the switch to see if you have a break in the wiring or a bad connector.
