I had two Strip out, Dog gone they were hard to get out. where can you buy replacement that match the factory ones?

Not to bad of a job if you got the thing out. You can put a helio coil in to rethread or tap them out and use a little bigger one. We picked up some stainless cap bolts at ACE hardware the size you need.
Just be sure to use some neversizes on them so they won't fresse up again and I have used it on the gaskets to make sure I get a good seal.

Good Luck WRO87

Three or so a member put together several sets of stainless bolts to replace all the fasteners in the TPI. I'll plead 'Senior Moment" and say I don't remember who but I have a set , still packaged, to go on the new build.

Central coaster put together the sets last time, I don't believe he is on this forum anymore. I bought a set of allen head bolts on E-bay and love 'em made reassembly a lot easier.

Default BEWARE of this arkansas polishing guy

Watch out guys. The arkansas polishing guy is the same isaac weaver that sells under the name thirdgentpi on ebay and has ripped off people in the past including yours truly. He actually owes me $375.00 which he absconded with after changing names on ebay. BEWARE!!!

He actually even used the web site name www.corvetteplenum.com before the current owner registered it. The current owner is actually OK and does good work. He still hears about what this weaver character does.

I just happened to be reading this and went to his site and to my dismay ... there he is again ... do not go to or buy anything from www.arkansaspolishing.com

He did one good job for me then it all went down hill from there.Missing parts, not polished on the sides of plenum, steel distributer cover and T-stat housing.Allways charges more then what his website says then gets your money and doesn't return emails or phone calls and takes months to do job.I agree be CAREFULL with this guy
