RE: Looking for advise
Here's the problem. After a little brake in time I must of gave it to much. I now have a rod knocking. The block is in the shop and I'm looking for some advise. I don't have a lot of cash left to go all out. What kind of things should I do to the block.

Did the bearing spin? Or are they simply worn out from age and miles?
Is it a bad oil pump?
If the bearings were worn, remachine the crank and rods as needed and put it back together. Don't panic yet. It may not be very bad.
1) The best bang for the buck is a good machining for the block and properly setting it up. $1500...but you are already 1/2 there.
2) Piston by far will give a little more strength and factor of safety $670
3) I have always gone for the coated bearings, but it is more about proper setup/clearances than anything
4) Stroker won't give you any more power, so keep this of the list
Hey how are U tuning it anyway?
