Default Installing BBK 58mm Throttle Body....

Are there any changes needed to the ECM or fuel system to make this TB work to it's potential or can I just bolt on and go???

Unless you have major other mods, should be plug-and-play!

Only effect, really, will be sharper throttle response. Unless you have, again, major other mods, you will reach 100% airflow at maybe 80% throttle plate angle.

how will a BBK 58mm throttle body work on a 383 with extremely ported heads and a lumpy cam?

It works fine on my 355 with AI 200 heads, ported intake, 12:1 compression, lt headers etc but I don't know what constitutes a lumpy cam. My cam is a hydraulic roller (23x 23x on a 110 LSA with .615 lift).

i have the AI 190cc heads! my lift is nowhere near that through. i think i'm in the 57x range. it's been a while, so i forgot. i'm also on 110 LSA. how much power are you putting down?

Its a custom cam that Ron and Phil put together for my combination and need for speed.

I'm not a track guy or dyno racer the corvette is my daily driver. But I know its making more power with this cam than the 280XFI it had last go around, due to how much harder I was spanking my buddies Cobra. He's tried from a dig and various roll speeds, and some mild bolt on stuff, pulleys exhaust etc, but it was bad enough that he finally bought a new B king and he has the faster vehicle.........for now.

I have a 3500 vigilante stall, 3" B&B exhaust and a couple of other power enhancers sitting in the garage, once I get the gumption to pull the tranny again and install it all it will be time to try try again, and if that doesn't work I may have to get a modded busa.
