1988 windshield washer pump help!
Anyone replace this pump?
It looks like you need a special socket to reach down into the resevoir, at an angle, and back off the filter (unscrew it from the pump
Any hints please

Ive done but its been a while. I know that I removed the whole jug from the car. I think I just used a deepwell socket and extension. Being plastic, I didnt try and get it very tight.

Found out you need 22mm deep bowl socket
Also found out pump is fine, filter was bloched with 20 years of coagulated washer fluif. Probably could have just used a bottle brush and clean water to clean it on the car
