Most of you recommend to DIY tune. I already have a laptop and I'd to go ahead and try it and I know you guys would support or help me in the process. Which software, where to buy and I'd like to hear your comments.

The bore and stroke are the factory LT4 numbers
Heads were worked by Elliot Portworks. The LE2 package
The best advice I can give after playing with the tune on my LT1 car is to read, read, read. I posted a link below to a basic guide, but there is much more to be read online about this. I used Tunercat, but there is also LT1 edit. Both seem to be good programs. Just make changes slowly and you will be fine. Hope this helps!!!

I'm the author of those tips (thanks for the appreciation!). If you find yourself over your head at first, I also offer an email power tune for $50. It includes three free retunes based on your own logs and feedback.
I've tuned several setups with similar specs, so I'm sure we could get you dialed in pretty closely.
