Yesterday I checked for trouble code in my ECM via ALDL.
I used a small section of electrical wire to connect the A with the B pin in the ALDL (as see in the Haynes manual -1984.1996 corvettes-).
The check engine light flashed a code 12 three times and . Then again code 12.
...There are NO stored codes in the system...
The strange thing is that when I connected the A pin with the B pin in the ALDL connector, under the hood I noticed a noise like a fan, or a electric pump. When I disconnected the wire the noise disappear.....
(I'm sure I connected the A pin with the B pin located in the top right side of the ALDL connector.
Why this noise??, Maybe the fuel pump??
Thanks in advance.
