Default C4 interiors questions

I am new to the vette world, and I think I want to get a C4. They seem to be much more comfortable than even the newer models I've sat in. I love the looks and power of the 00-02 models, but the seats dont feel as good. Are all the C4 seats the same, or do I need to be concerned with different trim levels and such to make sure the comfort will be the same as the one I sat in and liked?.... thx

Most of these cars are pretty old now,so the seats and foam are not gonna feel like a car 5 years old or less.Heck a 96 C4 is nearly 14 years old!

My former 86,before the seats wore out, were very comfortable.Yes they changed the seats designs through the C4 years,so theyre not all the same.I really liked the seats in my former 86 years ago.

Bottom line is,if you find a C4 you like, the seats may be old and worn down somewhat.Sometimes new seats are the answers. Many vette suppliers offer new seats covers with new foam.Expensive though.

I liked the 96 model so far as comfort. However my neighbor has a 92 that i'm waiting to come out of storage to see..

There are standard seats and then there are the 'sport' seats, which have different bolsters, etc. The two are not really alike.

I have a 92 with stock leather seats. They are very comfortable. IMO, It helps to be less than a 42 waist, as the side bolsters would be tight. I am a 37 and they are perfect. The 6 way adjustable feature helps also. I never sat in a C5 or C6, so cannot compare. The neat thing is it really feels like a cockpit, and the car is more or less a part of you when driving.

I replaced the seats in my 85 with new foam and leather from Corvette America. They are very comfortable and have the cockpit feel. They are not designed for a wide body. The previous owner weighed 300. I have no idea how he fit in there.
