Quick timing gear clarification required
My car is a 1993 upgraded to the 95 timing cover, optispark, etc. I also have an electric water pump. The car makes about 405 RWHP. On track I spend a LOT of time in the 5000 - 6700 RPM range.
With that info, here are the questions:
1. Is the Cloyes 9-3145 double roller the way to go?
2. I've read that there are some mods to the timing cover need for clearance. Are there any other modifications required?
3. Will the dowel on my cam need modification or will it still drive the opti?
