Default Low Oil Pressure.....PLEASE HELP?

I have a 96 Vette with 115k miles. I just replaced 2 lifters last week, and adjusted all of the valves. The engine ran smoothly for the first few days. Just recently, the Oil Pressure PSI is shown really low at idle, it's low enough for the check gauge light to come on. Also, the check engine light shows code P0507 "Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected"; however, the RPM gauge is showing 800 rpm at idle and functioning very normal. I just changed oil and filter this morning, but this didn't fix the problem. Please help me to fix this problem, is it because I adjusted the valves wrong? Thank you very much!

Simple answer would be no. Your valve adjustment didn't lower the oil pressure.

So, how did you get the lifters out? (This goes back to the 2 bent rods and frozen lifters from past postings.) Have you ever had a period of smooth sailing with this engine? Is it still running well but just showing low pressure? With the valve covers off, can you confirm oil flow to all lifters/rockers?

I removed the manifold and used a bite grip to took the lifters out. And this is different problem from other 2 bent rods and frozen lifters. The engine run ok and the oil pressure gauge shown in middle, but as you drive and the motor get hotter the gauge show oil pressure low...and the check gauge light come on. I took the valve covers off, it does show oil flow to all lifters/rockers.

Oil flow to all rockers is good news.
I was curious whether the cause of the original problem was oil flow and might still be present.

I assume that you were never able to drive the car for an extended period so the low oil pressure reading might have been a problem before and after your repair. It might have been masked by a previous owner using a heavier weight than typically required (like a straight 30 weight).

Which oil weight did you use? If you are using a 10- , try a 20- something or even a 30 if you live in a warm place.

I would like to see you on the road and driving this car for awhile before spending more time and money on fixes. It could be an inaccurate reading, a problem with bearings, or other causes. If you can maintain about 15 lbs at idle, then drive it for awhile.
