HELP!! 95 Died and will not start!
You guys always help me solve my issues so I have come to you again. While driving home at 1:00am from my restaurant the vette just dies. No symptoms at all has been running great. Sitting at a stop light she just shuts off. Next morning I came back to pick it up and it actually started and ran for about 3 min then died and will not start again. After many hours and a tralier home it looks like I have no spark and no injector pulse. I did a fuel pump and computer in the parking lot but still no spark or fuel. I did the optispark last year with a new coil and new plugs and wires last month. I am thinking Opti again but I need it to know how to test a few things before I dive into that amount of work again. How can I be sure of no spark and how can i be sure of no pulse? Then just what do you guys think??? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Check your coil and ignition control module (ICM). Mine did the same thing as yours. Drop-dead Fred, resulting in a crank, no-start condition.
In my case, the coil tanked (without warning) taking my ICM with it. I replaced both, and it cranked right up runs like new money.

I'm on my forth opti in about 20K. Someone replied to me once "opti, opti, opti" The only problem I've ever had. Last time it turned out to be a fried rotor button after only 10 months. My money is on the opti. My last one came with a lifetime warranty just 2 weeks ago from "All ignition"

Thanks for the help guys. I just had the ICM tested, it came back fine. I put a new coil on last year when I did my opti so it is fine. I plugged some LED's into my injector wires and got no light at all. I put a new computer on it on Friday soooooo, the dreded Opti. Ordering now I will let you know.
