Anyone have a diagram on Passenger window assembly

for an 84?

rolled the windown down the other day and heard a bang

window stayed down but from what I could see with panel off

motor moves but does not seem to be attached to Scissors

holding the window glass

I tied it into the up position but it needs fixing

Wondering if you got your window fixed. The 84 only had a "ribbon" type regulator and the ribbon breaking is very common and an easy fix. Just replace the ribbon. You will have to remove the regulator however. You mentioned motor working but "scissors" not moving, this would be the newer style regulator from newer years. I am sure most folks prefer this regulator and many early C4 owners have swapped them out. So, if it is the latter style and you heard a clunk, possibly a weld or something broke on the regulator gear. I had one do this and I just made a spot weld repair. Again, you will have to remove the regulator. If you need some additional help let me know and hopefully I can assist you. Don't have any pictures and I am in process of moving so camera and scanner packed up.
