While under the car today found this hanging near the header on the drivers side. Don't ever remember seeing it before. Don't know if it something from when I had a SC or not. What does it do/go to? You can see its melted a bit. The fuse is 4
I might add that 4 amp fuse isn't much but I certainly wouldn't add a bigger fuse if you don't know what it powers. If it was installed to replace one of the main fuse links, I would think amp draw would be an issue on this circuit.

Any ideas?
If that is located by the AC blower fan box it is supposed to be there. I for get what it goes to exactly but the melting probably occured from the heat of the exaust in the area. Tie wrap it to another loom in the area to keep it out of harms way.
Or, the wire on this connector could be undersized and it tends to heat up although the exhaust is a real possibility too. Thought this was on driver side in vicinity of battery below master cylinder maybe? It looks like a fuse assbly that you buy at auto parts store. Would really help if you could partially trace wire somewhere for starters.
Sorry guys, I fig. it out. It's for the line lock...stupid me. I didn't install the line lock and didn't know about the fuse, etc so when I seen it hanging there I was confused. Must have moved and then got close to the header.
