I saw a form I cant find, It talked about free software ( or trial) for your laptop and where to buy a cord to hook to your car from you laptop... Anybody know where i could locate these?

Is the ALDL (GM OBD1) Cable with 12 pin Connector
the one to buy for a 91? What software is recommended for it?

I couldnt find anything for a 1985 ob1..... Must not have much.

I think WINALDL will work on your 85. Go to Scan&Tune and click on the FAQ sticky at the top. Should be a link there.

I just checked. WinALDL works on your year and it's free. I bought my cable last week from ALDL cable and it comes with a CD with about 10 different programs which are mostly free downloads, but it might be convenient.
