Default Flickering lights when on idle

The car is an 85 z-51 4+3 manual with some engine mods. The alternator is stock but reconditioned 30 000 miles ago.

When the car idles the light flicker also when the headlights are off and only the cabin lights are onwhen door is open.
Is this the voltage regulator ?The aalternator has about 30 000 miles on.
Would very much appreciate somecomments. I have not analyzed the voltage with a scope, bt when the lights flicker it must be mquite some ripple. That with too much ripple will also influence the idle too.
Would appreciate some comments.

Default

The voltage regulator in the alternator is oscillating. They don't cost much and they aren't very hard to replace.
