Default ESC module part numbers

Digging through the archives I came up with this for ESC part numbers:

'85-'86 p/n 16022621 - New p/n 16126761
'87-'89 p/n 16052401 - New p/n 16038331
Gordon Kilbrew mentioned the 16038331 upgrade for less sensitivity. Will that number work with the 86-87 cars as well? What about the knock sensor, as part numbers are different for the 86-87 as well?

I have the 16038331 on my 86 with an 86 knock sensor. Couldn't really tell you if there is much difference, I'll have to log it with both units, one day.

That's all that I needed to know. That is will work. This ESC has really thrown me for a loop. No codes what so ever, but it runs like crap with it plugged in Did the FSM diag chart, time to remove and replace.

Thanks
