I was thinking since I have the heads off and can accurately measure when the cylinders reach TDC, before I put the heads on why don't I put masking tape onto the balancer and as I rotate the engine I can mark the positions for TDC?
I figure it should take some of the guess work out of adjusting the valves. And once I have the first 4 marks I can adjust the valves using the technique to do two at a time, like #1 and #6 first, then on to the next.
Make sense, seems like it should make the job easier!
