These 113 heads are 58 cc. What size were the original 86-87 aluminum heads and what other differences is there between the 113's and the original aluminum heads?
The 113 heads are virtually the same heads as the 88 heads. In fact it has been a long time since I looked at these details, but as I recall, the 88 L98 has 113 heads. They are the ones with the D shaped exhaust ports and the ones that the late John Lingenfelter preferred to port in that time period.
I don't think that the 2" valve upgrade is worth the added expense, especially given your budget. If you will do the bowl work you will have a good flowing set of heads with your stock valve size.
I think that given your budget, reusing these heads is a VERY wise thing to do.

My $0.02,
The machinest said the intake valves I had were junk, and the exhaust valves were good... It's just what I was told to do
2.0 will help alittle after all the pocket/bowl porting is done. probly worth 10-15 cfm plus port work. Stock heads flow 190's, abit of mild porting can get 220's. Full job with bigger valves can hit 250-260 and thats about it.
