How much can I do?
I am just starting to restore our newest little treasure and was wondering how much can be done to the engine, as far as maybe porting the cross ram or camming, before the ecm goes nuts? The motor has 80k and runs pretty well. I wouldn't mind beefing the cam and already planned to pull the manifold and reseal it. Anyone got any good ideas? Thanks

Your profile states that you have an '84...if this is the car you asking about then you should look up all the threads from EFI-CFI. He has done a lot of porting work on the Crossfire, I plan on following his steps when I can get "ahead" on repairs on mine.
Now that everyone knows you are asking about an '84......the replies will be along the lines of..."scrap that POS and put a real engine in there" or "You should have bought an '85 with the Fuel injection".......
