Cold start injector was eliminated in 89 but there are after market block off plates that work on 85-88
Depending on whether you are going to run a stock chip or aftermarket tune, the deleted CSI can be allowed for in the new tune so it only comes down to a matter of appearance
Seeing as most people go from TPI to carb sounds like you are doing it the other way we would need to know what ECM you have. Living in Hawaii I dont see cold starting being a problem for you but I would get a TPI setup that matches what ever year ECM and wiring harness you are going to use

I have access to the complete TPI set up off of an 88. Was use curious as to what year is "the best." I hear people say the MAF sensor from xxxx year is no good, etc. Just wanted to know what year to look for.

BTW, I'm putting the TPI on a C2.
go with a 90-91 speed density one. way less hassles
