Cold and hot starting issues
I suspect, dirty injectors not closing properly, which is causing some difficulty in hot and cold starts which seemed to imrpove after a new fuel pump, for about a day.
I never had cold start issues with the old pump.
So, I've been thinking about wacking in a set of new injectors. Someone suggested first trying a bottle of fuel system cleaner in the tank.
If cleaner doesn't work, then I shall remove my injectors. Should I send them to an injector specialist or simply replace them?
If I replace them, is there something a little different from the stock replacement that I can go for that'll be pretty good? I see some from Accel that seem to be a few hundred cheaper for the set.
As the throttle body needs to be reomoved from the plenum to get to the rails, can I actually leave the throttle body in situ and remove only the plenum?
Tips and hints guys, I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who have done this and can reccommend injectors and injector things to do.
