a lot of junk goes down there, oil, dirt etc. I hate to tell you this, that is difficult to remove without removing the timing cover off. Hopefully other C4 owner have a tricky technique to get it out from underneath.

Thanx Pete, I've heard you can loosen the engine mount bolts and jack up the engine slightly and get to it good enough. It's still tight though! I bet you have seen all you want to of this area lately!
