92 Air Conditioning Help

My a/c blows cold and strong. However, when I turn it on it will only blow out the defrost and lower vents, not out the middle vents. This is whether auto is selected or not. After some time (10+ mins) cold air will usually start blowing out the middle vents along with the others. Any ideas of the problem?

Mine was caused by a vacuum leak in the engine bay on the drivers side front by the vacuum pod. Does your cruise control work? That a first sign of a vacuum leak. Good luck, Bob

if you have digital climate control you may have a bad blending door servo.

I also had to remove my neg battery cable for a min or so after i fixed my leak to reset it on my 92.

Cruise control does work although not as good as it once did. It always holds 2 mph less then speed set at.

It is digital climate control. How can I check the door?
