Knock Sensor Boot
1987 Corvette
Hey, where can I buy a knock sensor BOOT. That rubber connector of the left side - low, for the sensor in the block. It is round, I remember it as having a black rubber boot. The boot is gone, the connector is plugged it but it is just a lead on a wire. I have purchased out of catalogs - all oval hard plastic (wrong).
Got any ideas??

I have been looking for this part, I would appreciate the info as to where I can get one. I have looked at a few catalogs ,but haven't found it yet.

even though that connector is oval shaped that is the correct one for both the fan sensor and knock sensor. Yes it oval while the sensor is round but its like that so when you push it on it locks and seals and wont come loose.

Poop Boys has/had this weatherpak; NAPA can usually look it up and order it if not in stock. If you swap it out, you need a good connection (like any Sensor circuit) so make sure that the splice is a good one OR crunch the old connector with some pliers, reform the locking tang, and reinsert the existing wire.
