edit to say, if you take a 4.10 gear, multiply by .70 for overdrive, it equals 2.87 ratio. That is a lot better then alot of cars came with before overdrive transmissions came out, for a final drive ratio.
Does anyone make a 4.10 gearset for the auto's D36, or are you running a D44?

NO you can only go 3.75's in a D36 because they came in a auto, adn I have read with the gearing of the 700R the 3.75's are like running 4.56's with an old school car 350-400 trans.

I bought Richmond 3.75's for my auto, needs much more fun.

If I yank the pumpkin what is a reasonable price to get 4.10s put in my Dana 44? I can box and ship it. Who does a good job?

Call for a price AZ Differential I was considering what you are I have heard they are good
