92' LT1 auto stalls while driving Code 36
This started a week ago. I was driving @ about 40ish and suddenly (no cutting out, warning) it just died. The lights on the dash were still lit up, but the car was no longer running. After a couple of attempts it restarted and drove about 1-2 miles & same thing; all the sudden and without warning car died, happened 3rd time, after that I had it towed. Had to have it towed home. Since then I have replaced the Opti Spark distrib cap/rotor, IAC and also re did the wiring to the IAC (the previous owner had spliced in butt connectors) and verified the wires were going to the correct place in the weather pack connector, coil wire from coil to Opti. 1 month ago replaced the Ign. module that is next to the Coil, the 
Coil, Plug wires.are about 9mo old. It's getting fuel (hear pump turn on) and spark.
What else could possibly cause my car all the sudden to die like that?

There is a test procedure in the FSM....but code 36 (high resolution signal fault) usually means the opti dist. has gone belly up.
BTW you don't have a water pump leak/seep do you ?

No, I had just finished replacing the Opti cap & rotor & there wasn't a leak. I did follow the FSM's flow chart and it is "faulty distributor connection or faulty distributor" I got a new distrubutor last night. I'll let U know if this is the fix or not.
