94 Corvette convertible fuel filter replacement
Hi, can someone walk me through replacing the fuel filter on my car? I removed the X brace underneath, and it doesn't look easy. Any tips out there before I start? Thanks!

Wear a full face mask and a raincoat that is resistant to gasoline. It's not easy to reach, but straight forward. Be sure and remove your gas cap to relieve the fuel pressure.

Thanks for the reply. The upper nut looks impossible to reach with a fitting wrench. Are you guys loosening this upper nut (along with the lower nut) and removing the filter on the car, or disconnecting the fuel line at the engine, dropping the fuel line assembly down, and taking the filter off on a workbench?

I have done it on mine without removing anything. That was almost a year ago though. I don't remember what order I pulled the lines off in.
It can be done with regular wrenches and plyers. It won't be easy though and you will grow to enjoy the taste of gasoline.
