Default Code 43 ???

Hi All
While autoX today got a miss at high rpms, check for codes got a 43
so do I need to replace the knock sensor, or how can I test it.
Car is a 90 6 spd. Check eng light did come on. Thanks for any help.

Double check the wiring and connectors first, sometimes if they come loose it'll give you a code. If that's ok, then you need to replace the knock sensors, I would suggest that you do both at the same time because if one's gone it won't be long before the other goes as well.
You can change them without draining the water, just make sure that engine is cold.
