Default blower auto control

My 88's blower went from randomly turning on to not working at all. All of the old threads I've found refer to the control module failing and the blower staying on. My clutch is enganging when turning on the air so relay should be OK? The motor is showing OK. What else am I missing that could be causing a problem. Is there a way to check the module with a meter?

Your fan motor might just be shot. Divide and conquer: Pull the fan motor and apply 12v battery voltage to the motor's leads and see if she'll spin. If the fan works look for trouble some place else.

As above, jumper the blower motor - if it works, make sure the connector is intact.

Module provides a switched ground for the compressor - there's no relay - that part is working.

Controls send a low voltage signal to the Module - Tan or Brown wire. It's 2.5 volts at 1; 6 volts at 10. Output is 4/12. If there's no input, it's the Control Panel or the wire. If there's no output, it's the Module.

Thanks, that's the info I needed. My Chiltons doesn't have anything on that part of the electrical.
