snake oil. The only new design spark plugs that have been proven are the E3 diamondfire plugs. Even then the benefits dont really outweigh the cost. ($7 each)

Supposedly they have a money-back guarantee (within 30 days), so it might be worth a try.
It would not be worth on a C4. Once is good enough for spark #8. Imagine returning the set back to the auto parts, that would be removing it three times.
You can convince plenty of people with flowery advertising and wild claims that your spark plugs (or anything else) is much better than conventional plugs and charge a large multiple over conventional for them. Many people don't really understand how spark plugs work and can be convinced that E3's (or any other, "improved", plug) will work longer, give more HP, reduce emmisions, lower fuel consumption, ...blah blah blah!!!!!!! If their plugs are so good, then explain why every manufacturer still uses conventional spark plugs and have been since cars have been made. Why, because they work and, "new", plugs don't work any better!
A spark plug is merely a gap between two conductors where a spark can jump and ignite fuel/air inside a cylinder. Fairly recently long life spark plugs have been used by car makers and their life gets extended by using a semi precious metal for the electrodes which resists erosion much better than the steel electrodes used in more common spark plugs. I would advise you to use the plugs that your car manufacturer recommends and avoid plugs that make outlandish claims. Of course its your money and you can do whatever you want, but keep in mind that car makers aren't stupid and they continually test new products and if E3's were truly better, they would be in new cars.
