Default 1994 - Questions on modifications

Greetings folks. Apologies for the new thread, but I did quite a bit of searching and did not come across exactly what I was looking for.
I have a 1994 Auto with ~56k miles on it. The only mods I have done are the SLP intake and a lower temp thermostat. I prefer to stick with the fairly easy/bolt-on type mods on my cars.

I see that there are JET performance modules, Hypertech programmers, Diablo Predators (Maybe), etc. For those that know, is there one that is superior to the other? Or perhaps something completely different that I am unaware of?

Also, I would like to have a more robust exhaust note and some extra power to boot. The Magnaflow sounds good IMO, but I see Borlas, Flowmasters, Dynomax, SLP, etc. Again, is there one cat-back that is superior?

Again, I apologize for starting a new thread. Mods - feel free to delete if there is somewhere else I should have checked.

Your input is much appreciated.

Cheers.

Tuners with a stock engine are pretty worthless. The factory tune isn't bad, and the only reason to really correct it is with mods to air and/or fuel delivery (such as headers, cam, different injectors, etc).

Understand that your LT1 dual exhaust is pretty non restrictive up to about the volume necessary for 400+ rwhp so you are not going to gain any more HP by changing your exhaust or your mufflers although you will get a louder sound.

You would however gain a deeper exhaust note and probably broaden your torque curve by installing a set of long tube headers and retaining your stock catback system ... just a thought for your consideration

Ah, I see. Thank you guys very much for your input.
Glad I didn't go and purchase something that produced little or no results.
Forgot to ask about the aftermarket MAF sensors, but I imagine they are not much help either.

I'm thinking about adding a TPI C4 to the stable. I imagine it has the same sort of limitations regarding those performance adders?
I need to do a search and find out what to look out for when procuring a TPI car.

Thanks again.

Regards.

The exhaust on the TPI cars isn't nearly as good from the factory as the LT1 exhaust, so there are definitely some gains to be made there.
