Default Hawk HPS pads

yea or nay and how aggressive are they on the rotors? The car gets washed once a week at least and goes less than 200 miles a week as well... Just deciding if I want to buy and set of back up rotors while the getting is still cheap.. std rears J55 fronts if that helps..

Had my rotors turned at 35K when I first bought my 95 and first put on HPS pads. When I went to replace the HPS pads for the 3rd time at 98K I put on a complete set of rotors (13" fronts & 12" rears) that I bought from our forum vendor Corvette Recycling at a fantastic price. Point being however when I took a good look at my old rotors I was surprised at the depth of the grooves worn on the faces of all 4 of them.

If your driving your vette on a regular basis it sure can't hurt to buy a complete set of extra rotors from those guys while the price lasts

Say I just noticed you live back in my old stomping grounds. Growing up in Hartford, I spent many summers at Ocean Beach Park in New London.

Good point get while the getting is good.. in a year they will be worth more than I paid for them and certainly planning on keeping the car a lot longer than a year or two unless i win power ball then all bets are off though would still keep it anyway at that point will have a different vette for every day of the week or one the the street one for the track one for rainy days a vert for sunny days and one for the beach and going hiking..LOL i live 2 blocks outside of Mystic don't know how long since you have been here but in this little village the traffic is more congested in the summer than times square in NYC..LOL... Saying that maybe one for blondes and a different one for redheads and yet another for brunettes.. I bet with a 100 million in the bank I would get a bit more handsom..LOL I have noticed since buying the 91 the women that smile when I drive through town has dropped at least 2 generations..LOL...:ro fl:

Why would rotors get more expensive in the future?

I use HPS pads on pretty much everything. I like them, and have not noticed any bad rotor wear. I like those pads a lot, and they are made in the US!

I have Hawk HPS pads for several years and purchased rotors from Hawk Racing at the same time. Think I have over 75,000 miles on both with great results. Great bite, no noise and low dust.

Yeah, right outside Cleveland. I have family from Cleveland, so I'm always happy to support a business from there, assuming they make a good product. Corsa and Hawk do, and I've bought from both several times.

But really, I'm just glad it's a good product that's made in this country.
