what oil filter do i need for a '92 lt1 sixspeed?

I get my mobil one filters from Autozone. Of course I forget the number every time so I have to get the other idiot behind the counter to look it up for me.

I like the KN version. Quality design and easy to put and take off with end nut built into bottom. Also, recommend you put a magnet on it to collect and hold any metal particles.

I have the K&N, I've heard absolutely stay away from the Fram brand (They can collapse) and that includes fuel filters. I've read about a recall for the Vette because of the defective Fram fuel filters.

I usually go to NAPA and pick up the gold level filter for the car. IIRC its like $8

The NAPA Gold is the same filter as the Wix - it's a good choice.
