Horn relay??
Where is the horn relay in an 85 corvette? My horns work if you put the power direct and the switch works...but the horns dont honk when you push the button. I think the relay for the horn is bad but cant find it! Thanks ahead of time for your help!

Check the fuses first, but the horn relay is right behind info panel, Where the check engine light is & security light.. Behind that panel..

Well there could be a couple fuses, cause of the security system, so the horn is on a few circuits... But You can pull one at a time & look at the fuses & if the fuse is broken it is bad...

Thanks but the only fuse blown is the cour. lights is that one the fuses that the horn is tied to? However I seem to remember the horn working after I had the light issue. still have a light issue!

I think it does work on that circuit but not sure I will check on my car in five minutes, If you have a fuse throw it in & see, If that does not do it.. I would change the relay, If that does not do it, Most likely it is in the column,

I had this same problem with my 87...I fixed this by pulling the two metal contacts behind the button...It appeared someone punched the horn button once or twice...basically forcing the contact bars rearward and sideways...bent them back...and my horn works perfectly
