a/c

My a/c controller is dead the car is a 94 with the automatic climate controll. i tried looking this up in the tech section but the section is down. Does this sound like a controller that needs cleaned or replaced?

the controller is doing nothing there is nothing on the lcd screen and all of the buttons are inactive.

ok all of the fuse as far as i can tell for the a/c controller are good. now here is the wierd part the compressor is working like it should. it is cycleing like the a/c is turned on and the fans run like the a/c is turned on. and all of the back lites on the controller are on the ones that light the buttons and lcd display

also the red wire to the blower motor is showing battery voltage but and the ground shows continuity but the other two wires are showing something like .5 a volt and 1.5 volts

I just had that symptom. It was the ctsy fuse that was blown. I could turn on the radio but there was no sound. check all your fuses.

ok checked fuses all good even under the hood. did find that if i jump a hot wire to the a/c prog fuse the blower motor works but it blows out the window vents. my guess is the programmer is bad and it is causing the compressor to still run but not sending the instructions to the controll module. what do you guys thank?
