After porting..What are these??
Finished porting OEM manifold on my 89,underneath there are 4 large and one small torx head plugs,what do these access(coolant transfer tubes only?)As I want to make sure all of the left over filings from the porting are out,I also noticed there are small holes inside where I have ported are these to do with EGR? What's the best way to clean out to make sure no filings are still loctated in these area's before I install

EGR goes other way; from intake base , up tube on opposite runner to exit at 2 holes behind TB
I would blow out with a hose then air.

I used a garden hose to flush all the passages and then blew them out with compressed air. The "allen" plugs underneath are plugs for the coolant passages....those puppies are usually really stuck in there. If they didn't leak before don't mess with them or you can pickup some penetrating Locktite and put some on the threaded areas for extra protection.
