I just got my first Vette (87)
I am wondering what are the differences in the suspension for the various years.
Wilwood offers front brakes for the 88-96. What is different with the 84-87 front spindle/suspension and the 88-96?
I have heard the rear suspension is narrower in the 84-87 than the 88-96.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The rear suspension didnt change much. The front suspension was redesigned in '88 for zero scrub and therefore parts will not interchange between early (84-87) and later suspensions. The offset is also different '84-'87 uses +38mm, '88+ uses +56mm, this is important if you're considering new wheels.

I did check the FAQ section and found the info on the wheel offset.
I am trying to determine a little more about the differences in the spindles. If I can get enough info I want to make brackets to mount Wilwood brakes.
