Default Need help with intake problems?

I JUST PURCHACED A SET OF PRO COMP 210cc HEADS FOR MY 85 COUPE AND WHEN WE PUT THE INTAKE ON,THE PORTS ON THE HEADS ARE TOO TALL. THE INTAKE PORTS ON THE MANIFOLD HAVE A 1/16 GAP AT THE TOP OF EACH PORT.IT'S LIKE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH MATERIAL ON THE INTAKE TO COVER THE PORT. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? THANKS

You will need to have material welded to the runners then re-machined and port matched. Another method would be to cut off the existing flange and a have a new one machined for the heads/set-up (in port dim., and mocked up to the block, intake etc.) and then welded to the runners. Other options (depending on budget) would include starting with a different intake (sheet metal, victor etc.) that is made for the 1206 (or larger port, including raised runners etc).
