These are upgrades to a zz4 engine. Look at the prices. What would an upgraded ZZ4 cost in the end? We're getting close to LS1/2 prices but in general, my opinion is that the price of engines in general has gone up ridiculously in the past 3-4 years.

in 2004, I bought a 383 for a little less than 3K. Look at the price now especially at pace performance and you'll see how inflated it is. I think it's around 5300 dollars now. That's ridiculous and the price jump can only be explained as industry gouging and not inflation or supply and demand.

Actually, the more demand there is for a product, the more the manufacturer is OBLIGATED to make it more available and cheaper. Anything else is thievery or usery. I stay away from people that drive prices up continuosly and just let the market drive them out of business.

PACE is WAAAAAYYYYYYY too expensive.... It's pontiac dealership masquerading as a parts house for christ's sake. They may not even be around next year.

so according to this the 113 heads can flow enough to produce 408HP!

didnt think some of thier packages were too bad money wise, they are pretty complete, sure the shortblocks are warranteed, too. Its that little stuff that adds up.
Just an option as it seems every other day there is a "ZZ4 want more power" thread . I do not understand how a business is obligated (although everyone likes a fair deal) to lower their prices just because..there are cheap parts house places for that.
