Default C4 Digital Coolant Temp Inop.

My digital temp gauge is stuck at 142 degrees.

The analog temp gauge is working normal and all the other digital gauges are working normal.

Any Ideas?

This is a 93 LT1

Thanks
Herb

There are two coolant temp sensors. One is on the front of the water pump the other is on the passenger side of the block. They look similar. Check them both for disconnected wires and such. I always forget which is for the analog and which is for the digital gauge but hey there are only two so you've got an easy job for checking them!

Thanks 94Z07,
That's what it was. The digital is above the water pump.
Now I have to purchase a new connector and splice it on.

My current one must have banged against the crank pulley or something down there because now it won't push on the way it should.

Oh well, it could have ripped it off and I would be buying more than a connector.

Thanks Again!
