Got my car back-- Cant believe the diffrence
I had to take my car to a guy I learned of through the local club to have it scanned to find out what was wrong-- suspecting the fuel pump or the IAC.
Turns out 1. The IAC was clogged-- he thought he'd strip it getting it out. 2. The timing was 10 degrees retarded :eek: -- no idea when this took place. 3. TPS unit wasnt adjusted correctly.
He fixed all these things-- got the computer going right and she runs like a champ-- couldnt believe when it peeled out at 20 not even trying. I can't wait to get back to the track-- Were going to pick up a TON on that 15.14 :mad :D

Be ready for a full second off that ET and a real gain in trap speed, if you can avoid wheel spin on launch.

Yep those are performance killers if not adjusted properly. I picked up 3 tenths by cleaning and/or adjusting those exact 3 things. Glad you got that feeling! :cheers:

I cut a full second off my Crossfires time just fiddlin , fartin, and tuning. I didn't have anything like 10 deg retarded. You should see ALL of a second. Congrats! Keep playin with it. It likes it.

Glad to hear "All of a second" so many times-- if i can hook now will be the issue. It sure is tempting to hit it now though :D . It sure lifts up the front end a lot harder-- and on the highway-- MAN. I cant wait to get to the track. Hopefully my powereffects, gutted MAF, and cat will make a diff too. It sure does pull hard though. Its scary fast :eek: :D
