Ring gap .03mm over OK?

Ring gap .03mm over OK?
I am rebuilding a ’93 LT-1. I had the cylinders bored to 4.030”. I double checked the cylinder bore and it is exactly 4.030. I am using a new set of Hastings 2M 4626 030 rings.
However, when I check the ring gap in the cylinder, the top compression ring gap is .53mm. The FSM calls for .25mm-.50mm. So I’m .03mm over. Thus the question is, are .03mm's enough to worry about?
