GM says it will work with cars that use Dexron II and III.They say it has better shear strength, less foaming, forms less acid and will last longer before it deteriorates.I read the earlier synthetics had more esters in them which caused the seals in older motors and trans to deteriorate but the newer blends hardly have any esters in them so this is not a problem any more. What do you guys think?
I dunno mang, that O/D is a touchy SOB.....when it goes, you will not like life at all.
I just had to go through both the Super T10 and the O/D unit and it was not easy nor cheap.
Once that seal between the two go away....your are not a happy camper. messing around and "experimenting"......let's just say I am a bit gun shy about the 4X3 at the moment.
