92 part number needed
I need the part number for the pivot that the multi-function switch attaches to. The FSM calls this "switch assm, pivot & (pulse)" in section 3F5B.
The side closest to the driver has two flanges that operate the turn signal switch. The bottom flange has broken off so that only left turns can be signaled.

If you can post a snapshot of your broken part do it and I can ID it better from the snapshot.
The pivot attaches to the lock housing with about a 1/8 X 1" pin and that housing is plastic. If the actuator (the metal Y-shaped) part isn't connected I'd say you need maybe the turn signal switch. This would be the least expensive part "for sure"! I've got a column partially disassembled but I couldn't send you snapshots until this weekend.

The part pictured here at Eckler's: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1168
has the piece that I need on it. I can't tell if the AC/Delco pic has it or not. The wiper switch is fine. The turn signal switch is fine. The armature that connects the turn signal switch to the pivot is also fine. The only bit I need is the cheap feeling pot metal bit on the outside of the wiper switch. When it is mounted the face that is closest to the driver has two flanges or protrusions that engage the turn signal switch. The bottom flange is broken nothing else. I'm thinking of riviting on a 90 degree piece of steel if I can find something stronger than the pot metal.
BTW the multifunction switch is still attached. This one seems either stuck or mounted differently than the ones I've dealt with previously. Is there some secret to getting it off w/o breaking it?
